The Skyjacker Softride Add-A-Leaf Kit (R5005) is engineered to restore or enhance your vehicle's leaf spring performance without sacrificing ride quality. Unlike standard leaves, Softride components are constructed from high-quality American steel and undergo a specialized shot-peening process. By bombarding the steel surface with hard steel pellets at high velocities, the material is compressed to increase its tensile strength, ensuring the leaf can withstand maximum wheel travel and extended service life.
Designed with long tapered ends, these leaves provide a progressive spring rate for smoother engagement and improved ride comfort. Each leaf comes pre-drilled for the center pin to simplify integration into your existing factory leaf pack.
