Skyjacker Softride Add-a-leafs are engineered to increase load capacity and maintain ride quality without sacrificing the service life of the leaf spring. These packs are manufactured from high-quality American steel and undergo a specialized shot-peening process. By treating the steel with high-velocity pellets, the surface is compressed, significantly increasing the tensile strength of the leaf. This process is critical for achieving maximum wheel travel and durability.
Each leaf in the F46D kit is pre-drilled for the center pin to ensure proper alignment during installation. The long tapered ends provide a progressive spring rate, allowing for smoother engagement and improved ride comfort under varying load conditions.
