Fits select 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, Suburban and Yukon XL 1500, Tahoe, Yukon, and Avalanche 1500. This shock utilizes advanced foam-cell technology; when internal temperatures rise, the foam-cell insert compresses to accommodate oil expansion, preventing the aeration that causes shock fade. This design also allows for versatile 180-degree directional mounting by eliminating air from the shock body.

Engineered for long-term durability, the B8596 features 360-degree arc-welded end mounts for superior strength under load. The internal assembly includes vehicle-specific multi-stage valving, a sintered iron piston, and a chrome-plated shaft to ensure smooth operation and reliable resistance to road debris.
