The Skyjacker Hydro H7040 shock absorber is engineered to provide consistent damping and improved ride quality for your truck. Using a twin-tube construction, this shock focuses on controlling the energy stored in your suspension springs during compression and rebound. It features multi-stage velocity-sensitive valving that automatically adjusts to road conditions, ensuring a stable ride whether on smooth pavement or uneven terrain.
Built for durability, the H7040 utilizes a 5/8-inch diameter hardened and double chrome-plated rod to resist corrosion and wear. The included red polyurethane bushings offer superior longevity compared to standard rubber, maintaining precise suspension geometry over time.
