Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a significant upgrade in ride quality and suspension articulation while maintaining the rugged performance required for classic 4WD applications. Constructed from high-quality American steel, these progressive multileaf packs feature a tapered design across the entire length of the leaf. This tapering allows for increased flex at the leaf ends and more even load distribution, preventing the "digging" effect common in non-tapered spring packs.

To maximize durability and fatigue resistance, every leaf undergoes a shot-peening process where steel pellets are fired at high velocities to compress the steel surface, increasing its tensile strength. This allows for greater wheel travel without compromising the lifespan of the spring. Additionally, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips rather than restrictive C-style bend clips to eliminate binding and friction during compression and rebound.
