Skyjacker Softride springs are engineered to provide a significant improvement in ride quality without sacrificing load capacity or durability. Constructed from high-grade American steel, these progressive multileaf packs undergo a specialized shot-peening process. During manufacturing, high-velocity steel pellets compress the metal surface to increase tensile strength, allowing for maximum wheel travel and a longer service life than non-peened alternatives.

To ensure smooth operation, the Softride series features bolt-style spring clips that eliminate the binding and friction common in standard C-style bend clips. Each leaf is tapered across its entire length to distribute loads more evenly, providing increased flex at the leaf ends and preventing leaves from digging into one another during articulation.
