Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a significant improvement in ride quality without compromising durability or load capacity. Each progressive multi-leaf pack is constructed from high-grade American steel. To ensure maximum tensile strength and longevity, the individual leaves undergo a high-velocity shot-peening process with hard steel pellets. This compression treatment allows the spring to handle increased wheel travel and stress that would typically fatigue standard OE springs.

Unlike traditional designs that use restrictive C-style bend clips which cause binding and friction, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips to allow for smoother movement. The leaves are tapered over their entire length, distributing the load more evenly and creating more flex at the leaf ends to prevent "digging" into the adjacent leaves.
