Fits 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) including Base, Islander, Laredo, Renegade, Rio Grande, S, Sahara, SE, and Sport submodels.
Skyjacker Softride springs are engineered to provide a significant improvement in ride quality without compromising durability. Each spring is constructed from high-grade American steel and features individual leaves that are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocities. This process compresses the steel surface, increasing tensile strength and allowing for maximum wheel travel and flex while extending the service life of the spring pack.
Unlike standard designs that use restrictive C-style bend clips which cause binding and friction, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips to allow the leaves to move more freely. Each leaf is tapered over its entire length to distribute loads evenly and prevent the leaf ends from digging into one another, resulting in a more progressive and predictable suspension response.
