Fits 1994-2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2500 models. This Skyjacker Softride (DR54S) leaf spring is engineered to improve ride quality without sacrificing the heavy-duty load capacity of your truck. Each individual leaf is shot-peened with high-velocity steel pellets to compress the steel surface, significantly increasing tensile strength and preventing the fatigue that leads to spring sag.
The Softride series features a tapered design over the entire length of the leaf, allowing for maximum flex at the leaf ends and more even load distribution. To ensure smooth operation, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips rather than standard bend clips, effectively eliminating the friction and binding often found in OE-style replacements.
