Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a significant upgrade over factory suspension, focusing on both ride quality and long-term durability. These progressive multileaf packs are constructed using high-quality American steel. Each individual leaf undergoes a specialized shot-peening process with hard steel pellets at high velocities. This compresses the steel's surface, increasing tensile strength and allowing for maximum wheel travel without compromising the service life of the spring.

Unlike standard spring designs that use "C" style bend clips—which often cause binding and friction—the Softride series utilizes bolt-style spring clips to eliminate friction and allow for smoother articulation. Each leaf is tapered over its entire length to create more flex at the ends and distribute loads evenly, preventing the leaves from digging into one another under compression.
