Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to improve suspension performance and ride quality without sacrificing the durability expected from a heavy-duty truck. These springs are manufactured using high-quality American steel and feature a progressive multi-leaf pack design. Every leaf is shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocity to compress the steel's surface, significantly increasing tensile strength and extending the service life of the spring.
To ensure smooth operation, Skyjacker uses bolt-style spring clips that eliminate the friction and binding common with standard "C" style bend clips. The individual leafs are tapered over their entire length to distribute loads evenly and provide maximum flex at the leaf ends, preventing the leaves from digging into one another under compression.
