Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered as a high-performance alternative to factory suspension, focusing on ride quality and durability. These progressive multi-leaf packs are manufactured from American steel and undergo a specialized shot-peening process. By bombarding the steel with high-velocity pellets, the surface is compressed to significantly increase tensile strength, allowing for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing the service life of the spring.

To ensure smooth articulation, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips that eliminate the friction and binding common in standard "C" style bend clips. Each leaf is tapered over its entire length to provide more flex at the leaf ends and distribute loads more evenly across the pack. This design prevents leaves from digging into one another, resulting in a more compliant ride while maintaining a load capacity equal to or greater than the original equipment.
