Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to improve ride quality and suspension travel without sacrificing the heavy-duty durability required for your Super Duty. These springs are manufactured from high-grade American steel and undergo a rigorous shot-peening process. By hitting the steel with high-velocity pellets, the surface is compressed to increase tensile strength, preventing the sagging or snapping often seen in lesser springs pushed to their travel limits.

Designed as a progressive multileaf pack, the FR86S features leaves that are tapered over their entire length. This tapering ensures even load distribution and reduces friction at the leaf ends, allowing for more fluid movement and flex. To further eliminate binding, Skyjacker uses bolt-style spring clips instead of traditional cinch-style clips that can restrict leaf movement and cause a harsh, unpredictable ride.
