The Skyjacker Nitro N8061 Shock Absorber is a twin-tube, nitrogen gas-charged damper engineered to improve vehicle stability and handling. By controlling the rate of suspension compression and rebound, these shocks manage the energy stored in your springs to deliver a controlled ride across varying terrain. The multi-stage velocity-sensitive valving automatically adjusts to the speed of the piston movement, ensuring comfort on the pavement and firm control off-road.
Constructed for longevity, the N8061 features a 5/8-inch diameter hardened and double chrome-plated rod to resist pitting and seal wear. The assembly includes durable red polyurethane bushings and a protective red shock boot to shield the shaft from debris and contaminants.
