Unlike standard on/off switches, this sensor provides the variable input necessary for the fan's internal controller to modulate speed based on real-time cooling requirements.
- Temperature Range: 175°F to 195°F (79°C to 91°C)
- Compatibility: Designed exclusively for use with SPAL brushless fan systems
- Variable Control: Enables fan speed ramping to reduce electrical load and fan noise
- Construction: Durable brass housing with high-accuracy thermal sensing element
This sensor monitors coolant temperatures within the 175-195 degree window, allowing the brushless fan to gradually increase its RPM as heat rises. This variable operation prevents the harsh amperage spikes associated with traditional relay-controlled fans and ensures more consistent engine operating temperatures.
