Fits 1964-1966 Ford Mustang, 1964-1965 Ford Falcon, 1964-1965 Ford Ranchero, and 1964-1965 Mercury Comet and Cyclone.
Modern radial tires require different alignment specifications than the original factory settings designed for bias-ply tires. The SPC Performance 94220 adjustable caster rod allows you to dial in precise settings to promote improved return-to-center feel and more responsive handling. Stock strut rods on first-generation Mustangs and related Ford/Mercury chassis are non-adjustable and frequently utilize worn-out bushings that allow excessive lower rod assembly movement, resulting in poor tracking.
This adjustable rod replaces the fixed factory unit, featuring high-durometer OE-style rubber bushings that protect the chassis mount from damage while providing the rigidity needed for modern suspension geometry. It is an essential upgrade for classic vehicles running modern tire compounds to ensure stability and proper alignment.
