The factory suspension on the VE and VF chassis platforms—found in the US as the Pontiac G8 and Chevrolet SS—utilizes a specialized heim-style joint where the rear upper control arm connects to the rear hub/knuckle. Over time, these joints wear out, causing play in the rear suspension and degraded handling. While the original equipment manufacturer only provides these joints pre-fitted in a complete, costly knuckle assembly, the SuperPro SPF5707K set allows you to replace only the worn joints. This provides a significant cost savings while restoring peak handling performance and suspension geometry.
