Inconel is a specialized nickel-base superalloy that maintains its structural integrity and resists oxidation at extreme exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) that would typically fatigue standard stainless steel valves. The +1mm oversized head diameter allows for increased exhaust flow, though it requires professional cylinder head machining and oversized valve seats for proper installation.
