The nitriding process involves a hardening treatment that significantly increases surface hardness and reduces friction, resulting in improved heat resistance and extended valve guide life in high-heat turbocharged applications.
These valves are machined to standard 33.85mm head diameter specifications, making them a direct-fit replacement for worn factory intake valves without requiring oversized seat machining. This complete set includes all 10 intake valves required for the 2.5T FSI cylinder head.
