Engineered for the extreme thermal loads of the BMW S63 V8 engine, this set of 16 Supertech exhaust valves provides the durability required for high-performance turbocharged applications. These valves are manufactured from Inconel, a nickel-chromium-based superalloy specifically chosen for its ability to maintain structural integrity and resist oxidation at extreme exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).
To optimize cooling, these valves feature a sodium-filled hollow stem. The internal liquid sodium facilitates rapid heat transfer from the valve head to the stem, where it can be dissipated through the valve guides and into the cylinder head’s cooling jacket. This thermal management is essential for preventing pre-ignition and ensuring valve longevity in high-boost or track-driven S63 builds.
