Designed for the extreme thermal loads of high-performance turbocharged applications, these Supertech exhaust valves are manufactured from Inconel 751. This nickel-base superalloy maintains its high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance far better than standard stainless steel. To further manage combustion heat, these valves feature a sodium-filled hollow stem. As the valve moves, the liquid sodium transfers heat away from the valve head and into the stem, where it is dissipated through the valve guide and cylinder head cooling system.
