Fits Mini Cooper models equipped with the N14B16 and N18B16 engines. This set of eight Supertech exhaust valves provides critical thermal management for high-performance and turbocharged Mini powerplants.
These valves are manufactured from Inconel, a nickel-based superalloy specifically chosen for its ability to maintain structural integrity at extreme exhaust gas temperatures. To further protect the valvetrain during high-boost or sustained high-RPM conditions, these valves feature a sodium-filled hollow stem. As the valve operates, the liquid sodium transfers heat rapidly away from the valve face to the stem and through the valve guides, significantly lowering operating temperatures and reducing the risk of detonation or valve failure compared to traditional solid-stem components.
