The Superwinch SX12SR (MPN 1712201) is a heavy-duty recovery solution engineered to deliver 12,000 lbs of raw pulling power for modern trucks and off-road vehicles. This SX Series winch features a 6.0 HP sealed motor and a 3-stage planetary gear set with a 231:1 ratio for consistent torque and line speed under load. Housed in a durable metallic graphite powder-coated finish, the unit is IP68-rated for complete dustproof and waterproof operation in extreme environments.
Standard equipment includes a relocatable die-cast aluminum control box for flexible mounting and a 100% full load holding automatic mechanical brake for safety. The system comes pre-spooled with 80 feet of 3/8-inch UV-coated synthetic rope and includes a heavy-duty clevis hook and an aluminum hawse fairlead. For low-light operations, the SX12SR features a patented drum light and includes both a wireless handheld remote and a 12-foot wired remote with an integrated lithium-ion rechargeable LED flashlight.
