Starting in the 2018 model year, RAM vehicles were equipped with an SGW that blocks aftermarket diagnostic tools and programmers from sending commands through the OBDII port. This bypass harness restores full communication, allowing you to use your Tazer RAM device or other OBDII tools without restriction.
The "Long" variant of this harness is engineered for easier installation and cable management. By tapping directly into the factory SGW connection behind the dashboard, it provides a clean "T" junction. This allows the Tazer module to remain plugged in and tucked away, leaving your factory OBDII port available for other uses or ensuring a stealthy, secure installation.
