The Tein Street Basis Z is the evolution of the popular Basic coilover, designed to provide a balanced ride height drop and improved handling for daily driven vehicles. This system uses a twin-tube internal design for a smoother stroke and better comfort on uneven road surfaces. Unlike rebuildable units, the Street Basis Z features a sealed structure that maintains high quality while remaining cost-effective for enthusiasts looking to eliminate factory wheel gap.
Each damper is finished in Tein’s signature green powder coat, while the adjustment threads feature a specialized ZT coating to resist corrosion and ensure smooth height changes even after exposure to the elements.
