The Tein Street Basis Z coilover system is the evolution of the popular Basic series, offering an entry-level suspension solution for 2016-2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata (ND) owners looking to improve handling and achieve a lower ride height. Utilizing a twin-tube internal design, these coilovers provide a stable ride and sufficient stroke for comfortable street driving while significantly reducing body roll in the corners.
Constructed with a sealed-structure for high reliability and cost-efficiency, the Street Basis Z features thread-type ride height adjustment via the spring seat. To ensure longevity, the steel shock bodies are finished with Tein's proprietary ZT coating to resist corrosion and seizing in harsh environments. This kit is designed to be used with the vehicle's factory upper mounts.
