The Torque Solution Solid Shifter Linkage U-Joint is designed to eliminate the vague, sloppy feel often found in the factory Subaru shifting mechanism. By replacing the flexible, rubber-dampened original equipment (OE) bushing with a solid-pivot design, this component provides a direct mechanical connection between the shift lever and the transmission. This upgrade significantly reduces side-to-side play and ensures more precise gear engagement during spirited driving.
