By containing this heat, the blanket protects sensitive under-hood components—including wiring harnesses, hoses, and fluid lines—from heat soak and thermal degradation.
Beyond protection, this thermal barrier improves turbocharger efficiency. By maintaining higher exhaust gas temperatures inside the housing, gas velocity is increased, which helps reduce turbo lag and improves overall spool-up time. The outer layer features a durable carbon fiber finish for a professional, high-performance look that withstands the rigors of a high-heat environment.
