Fine-tune your turbocharger's boost threshold with the Turbosmart TS-0505-2006 wastegate spring. This 7 PSI outer spring is specifically engineered for use with Turbosmart WG38, WG40, and WG45 external wastegates, including the Ultra-Gate38, Comp-Gate40, and Hyper-Gate45 series.
Constructed from high-tensile spring steel, this component is designed to maintain consistent seat pressure and resist fatigue even under the extreme thermal loads found in the exhaust path. Because boost control is critical to engine safety, Turbosmart springs are manufactured to tight tolerances to ensure your wastegate opens at the designated pressure. This spring can be used individually or combined with other inner springs to achieve your specific target base boost level.
