The Turbosmart eBG50 Electronic BoostGate is a 50mm external wastegate that introduces "gate-by-wire" technology to high-performance turbo systems. By replacing traditional pneumatic actuators with a high-torque internal electric motor, the eBG50 provides precise, repeatable boost control regardless of exhaust manifold backpressure or spring ratings.
This electronic wastegate eliminates the need for vacuum lines, boost control solenoids, or pressure reference signals from the intake manifold, significantly simplifying engine bay plumbing. It is designed for integration with advanced aftermarket ECUs capable of driving high-current H-bridge motors, allowing for infinite boost mapping and superior response.
