The Turbosmart Electronic StraightGate ESG50 (TS-0565-1002) is a high-flow butterfly-style external wastegate engineered for uncompromising boost control. Unlike traditional poppet-valve designs, the ESG50 features a zero-offset straight-through valve that allows for significantly higher flow capacity within a compact 50mm footprint, providing a more linear flow profile across the valve's entire range of motion.
This system is fully electronically actuated, eliminating the need for reference hoses, diaphragms, or springs. By removing pneumatic control from the equation, you eliminate issues like diaphragm failure or spring pressure limitations. The high-torque electronic actuator provides precise valve positioning and fast response times, allowing for complex boost strategies and stable performance regardless of exhaust backpressure.
