Fine-tune your turbocharger’s boost levels with the Turbosmart TS-0550-3082 Grey Inner Spring. This precision-engineered spring is designed specifically for the Ultra-Gate 38 (WG38) and Comp-Gate 40 (WG40) external wastegates. As an inner spring, it can be used on its own to set a 5psi base boost pressure or combined with other springs to achieve higher specific target pressures.
Constructed to withstand the extreme thermal cycling common in exhaust systems, this spring ensures consistent valve actuation and prevents boost creep or pressure drops. Replacing or upgrading your wastegate spring allows for mechanical control over the minimum boost threshold before electronic controllers take over.
