The Vibrant Performance 11940 Stainless Steel Braided Flex Hose is engineered for reliability in demanding automotive plumbing. This -10 AN hose features a high-grade stainless steel braided outer cover for superior abrasion resistance, protecting a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner designed for consistent flow and long-term durability.
- Fluid Compatibility: Suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum service. Compatible with E85 and methanol (note: fumes may permeate CPE liner during long periods of stagnation).
- Temperature Rating: Operates efficiently from -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C).
- Durable Construction: Features a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber liner surrounded by a protective stainless steel braid.
- Format: Supplied in a 5-foot roll for custom length routing.
Installation Note: This hose is not intended for use as a brake line, high-pressure hydraulic line, or for in-tank submersion applications. For extended E85 use without permeation, Vibrant PTFE-lined hoses are recommended.
