The Vibrant Performance 11982 Black Nylon Braided Flex Hose is engineered for high-demand fluid delivery in automotive plumbing systems. This -12 AN hose features a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner protected by a lightweight, durable nylon braided cover that provides superior abrasion resistance compared to unshielded lines.
This hose is versatile enough for use with oil, water, coolant, and vacuum service. While compatible with E85 and methanol, please note that fuel vapors may permeate the CPE liner if fluid is left stagnant for extended periods; for permanent ethanol applications, consider a PTFE-lined hose. This product is not intended for high-pressure brake systems, hydraulic lines, or in-tank submersion.
