This hose features a black nylon braided outer cover for superior abrasion resistance, protecting a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner designed for consistent flow and durability.

This -16 AN braided hose is suitable for E85 and methanol use; however, fuel fumes may permeate the CPE liner if left stagnant for long periods. For permanent E85 applications, a PTFE-lined hose is recommended. Note: This hose is not for use in high-pressure brake or hydraulic lines, nor is it rated for in-tank submersion.
