This 180-degree bend is specifically recommended for high-temperature forced induction applications, maintaining its structural integrity at sustained operating temperatures between 800°F and 1500°F (427°C to 816°C).
Constructed with a 16-gauge wall thickness, 321 SS offers superior corrosion resistance and better resistance to tensile stress and stress fractures than 304 SS. The mandrel bending process ensures a consistent internal diameter throughout the bend, preventing flow restrictions in custom exhaust manifolds, downpipes, and turbocharger plumbing.
