The Vibrant Performance 11974 is a high-grade -4 AN black nylon braided flex hose engineered for reliable fluid delivery in demanding automotive environments. This 20-foot roll features a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner, providing the flexibility and durability required for custom plumbing projects. The outer nylon braid offers superior abrasion resistance while maintaining a lightweight, professional aesthetic.
This hose is versatile enough for use in oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum systems. While compatible with E85 and methanol, it is important to note that fumes may permeate the CPE liner during long periods of stagnation; for dedicated long-term ethanol use, a PTFE-lined hose is recommended. Note: this hose is not suitable for high-pressure brake or hydraulic lines, nor is it rated for in-tank submersion.
