This Vibrant Performance 4-ply Aramid reinforced silicone transition coupler (MPN 2833) is engineered for heavy-duty pressure applications where extreme temperature resistance is critical. Designed to connect 5-inch and 6-inch piping, this hand-wrapped reducer is ideal for custom turbocharger plumbing, intercooler piping, and high-performance radiator hose setups.
Unlike standard silicone, the Aramid fabric reinforcement between each layer provides superior structural integrity, allowing the coupler to withstand operating temperatures up to 392°F without swelling or bursting. The black silicone finish is UV and ozone resistant, ensuring the material remains flexible and durable in harsh engine bay environments.
