Vibrant Performance stainless steel braided flex hose is engineered for professional plumbing of fuel, oil, coolant, and vacuum systems. This hose features a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner for chemical compatibility, encased in a 304 stainless steel braided cover that provides superior abrasion resistance and high-pressure durability.
While suitable for use with E85 and methanol, please note that fuel vapors may permeate the CPE liner during extended periods of stagnation. For permanent E85 or methanol applications where vapor odor is a concern, we recommend a PTFE-lined hose. This hose is specifically designed for fluid transfer and is not for use in high-pressure hydraulic/brake systems or for submersion inside fuel tanks.
