The Vibrant Performance 11986B -6 AN Braided Flex Hose is engineered for high-performance automotive plumbing, featuring a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner protected by a durable two-tone black and blue nylon braided cover. This construction provides excellent abrasion resistance while maintaining the flexibility required for tight routing in engine bays.
This hose is versatile for use with oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum systems. It is compatible with E85 and methanol, though it is recommended for applications where fuel is not left stagnant, as vapors can permeate the CPE liner over time. Please note: this hose is not rated for use as a brake line, high-pressure hydraulic line, or for in-tank fuel submersion.
