This hose is constructed with a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner, providing a durable foundation that is then wrapped in a high-quality black nylon braided cover for maximum abrasion resistance and a clean, stealthy aesthetic.
Engineered for versatility, this flex hose is suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum service. It maintains its structural integrity across a wide operating temperature range of -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C). While compatible with E85 and methanol, users should be aware that fuel vapors may permeate CPE-style hoses if fuel is left stagnant for long periods; for dedicated long-term ethanol use, a PTFE-lined hose is recommended.
