Vibrant Performance braided flex hoses are engineered for high-performance automotive plumbing, featuring a high-tensile stainless steel braided outer cover for maximum abrasion resistance and durability. The core consists of a reinforced CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) synthetic rubber inner liner, providing a versatile solution for plumbing oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum systems.
- Material: High-tensile stainless steel outer braid with a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber liner
- Size: -8 AN
- Length: 20 foot roll
- Operating Temperature: -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C)
- Applications: Suitable for oil, water, fuel (including E85 and methanol), coolant, and vacuum service
- Important Notes: Not for use as brake lines or high-pressure hydraulic lines; not suitable for in-tank submersion
- Manufacturer Part Number: 11928
While compatible with E85 and methanol, please note that fuel vapors can permeate the CPE liner if fluid is left stagnant for extended periods. For dedicated E85 systems where permeation is a concern, we recommend a PTFE-lined hose.
