The Vibrant Performance LiteFlex Exhaust Coupling (part number 66806) is engineered to manage the thermal expansion and vibration inherent in high-performance exhaust systems. Unlike standard flex pipes, the LiteFlex series features an internal stainless steel interlock liner that creates a smooth inner wall to minimize turbulence and facilitate unrestricted exhaust flow.
Constructed with durability in mind, the interlock liner provides a critical thermal barrier that protects the internal bellows corrugations from extreme exhaust temperatures. The exterior is wrapped in a lightweight stainless steel wire mesh, designed to limit bellows expansion and provide a layer of protection against road debris while maintaining the necessary flexibility for engine movement.
