The Wilwood Forged Superlite 6R (FSL6R) series is a technical benchmark for asphalt short track, late model, and road racing applications. This redesigned FSL6R model features internal fluid transfer ports, which eliminate the need for external fluid cross-over tubes that are vulnerable to track debris. This design incorporates a four-corner bleed screw assembly, allowing this right-hand (R/H) orientation caliper to be mounted in various positions without requiring a specific leading or trailing configuration.
This differential bore 6-piston caliper uses three distinct piston sizes (1.62", 1.12", and 1.12") to ensure even pressure distribution across the pad face, reducing tapered wear and improving modulation. It is engineered specifically for use with 0.81-inch thick rotors in high-demand competition environments.
