The Wilwood Combination Parking Brake (CPB) Rear Kit is engineered to provide high-performance stopping power and a reliable parking brake solution for vehicles originally equipped with rear drum brakes. This system features unique hydro-mechanical calipers that utilize hydraulic pressure for primary braking while incorporating an internal mechanical lock for parking brake functionality. This design is an ideal upgrade for Honda Civic rear spindles that cannot accommodate traditional internal shoe-style parking brakes.
This kit replaces factory components with oversized 11.00-inch two-piece rotor assemblies. The rotors are mated to lightweight aluminum hats to reduce unsprung weight, improving suspension response. For consistent performance, Wilwood includes BP-10 high-friction compound pads, providing the necessary brake balance to complement a front big brake upgrade.
