Fits 1970-1982 Chevrolet Corvette models, including Base, Stingray, Collector's Edition, and Anniversary editions.
The Wilwood D8-6 Front Caliper Kit (MPN 140-11857) provides a direct bolt-on replacement for factory OE calipers, offering a significant upgrade in braking performance and reliability. Featuring Type III hard anodized forged billet aluminum bodies and stainless steel pistons, these calipers eliminate the rust, bore pitting, and seal failures common in original cast-iron designs. The 6-piston configuration delivers superior clamping power and more even pad loading across the rotor surface.
Designed for low-maintenance performance, these calipers mount in the stock location over factory rotors and are compatible with original style D8 brake pads. While they fit most 1967 and newer production wheels, some aftermarket replicas or 1965-66 OE "JK" code steel wheels may require a 3/16-inch or wider wheel spacer for proper clearance.
