Fits select 1975-1980 Ford Mustang II, Ford Pinto, and Mercury Bobcat models equipped with factory disc brake spindles.
The Wilwood Classic Series front disc brake kit (MPN: 140-14271) provides an engineered braking upgrade for vintage Ford and Mercury subcompacts. This kit centers around the FDL-M four-piston forged aluminum Dynalite caliper, delivering reliable clamping force in a lightweight, high-strength package. The design features a large 11.03" x 0.88" one-piece rotor and hub assembly, now updated with dual bolt patterns (5 x 4.50" and 5 x 4.75") and 1/2-20 screw-in studs to accommodate various aftermarket wheel choices.
Designed for straightforward installation, this kit bolts directly to original equipment disc brake spindles without modification. It provides ample clearance for most popular 15-inch wheels and is fully compatible with both manual and power-assisted master cylinders.
