The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6R (FNSL6R) Front Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in thermal capacity and clamping force for 1988-1998 Chevy C1500 trucks. This system features six-piston FNSL6R calipers, which are radial mounted to optimize rigidity and pedal feel. The narrow body design allows for greater wheel clearance while maintaining the high-strength forged aluminum construction expected from Wilwood's performance line.
Equipped with 12.19-inch drilled rotors, this kit (MPN 140-15948-DR) effectively manages heat and prevents brake fade by venting gases and maintaining a clean pad contact surface. The red powder-coated finish provides a durable, professional look that stands up to road debris and high-temperature environments.
