This Wilwood Grade 8 socket head pipe plug is engineered for high-pressure sealing in hydraulic and braking system ports. The 1/8-27 NPT fitting features an internal socket drive, allowing for a clean, flush installation in tight clearances where external hex-head plugs cannot fit.
Constructed from high-strength Grade 8 steel, this plug is finished with a Black Dry Seal coating to ensure a secure fit and corrosion resistance. For added reliability and ease of installation, each plug comes with Loctite 516 thread sealant pre-applied, providing a leak-proof connection without the need for additional sealant tapes or pastes.
