The Wilwood 260-13783 Residual Pressure Valve maintains 2 PSI of line pressure to eliminate excessive pedal travel and ensure consistent braking response. This 2lb valve is specifically engineered for disc brake applications where the master cylinder is mounted below the horizontal plane of the calipers. In these setups, gravity and vibration can cause fluid drain back, resulting in excessive piston retraction and a spongey or long brake pedal stroke. This valve prevents backflow without causing brake drag.
Constructed from billet aluminum and blue anodized for easy identification, this valve is designed for durability and precision. This package includes the necessary fittings to adapt the 1/8-27 NPT ports to standard brake lines.
